I'm Walking for WAGEC!

Walk with Me to Support Women and Girls in Crisis

Hi, I'm Gayathri Raghunath, and I’m walking 10 km at Centennial Park, Sydney on Sunday 5th May to raise funds for WAGEC Australia. I invite you to join me in supporting this incredible organization that provides crucial services to women and children experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and other forms of crisis.

Why WAGEC?

WAGEC is an organization that offers emergency accommodation, outreach support, and advocacy for women and children in need. They work tirelessly to create safe spaces and empower women to rebuild their lives with dignity. By supporting WAGEC, we're contributing to a future where women and children have access to the support and resources they need to thrive.

My Journey

I'm taking on this 10 km walk because I believe everyone deserves a safe home and a supportive community. This challenge is my way of showing solidarity with those who face difficult circumstances. It's also a reminder that even small steps can make a big difference. As I walk, I'll be thinking about the strength and resilience of the women and children WAGEC helps every day.

How You Can Help

I'm asking for your support in reaching my fundraising goal of $500. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly to WAGEC to provide:

  • Safe accommodation and housing support
  • Counselling and emotional support services
  • Programs for children and young people
  • Education and employment resources

With your help, we can create positive change and support those who need it most. If you’re able, please consider donating to my fundraising page. If you can't donate, sharing this page with your network would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for supporting me and WAGEC Australia. Together, we can walk toward a better future.
