Every week, one woman is killed at the hands of her current or former partner. Gender-based violence takes a profound toll on women, children and communities - and the Women and Girls Emergency Centre (WAGEC) in Redfern is working hard to change that.

I'm walking for WAGEC as I believe everyone has the right to live a life free from fear and abuse. By walking and raising funds, we can help WAGEC provide safe and secure housing, as well as support services, to those who need it most.

To my friends and fam - any and all donations are so appreciated - every dollar counts, whatever you can give. The price of a coffee might mean nothing to you in the scheme of things, but everything to a woman looking to escape the cycle of abuse ❤️
