Not sure if anyone is reading these but since I've got a few more donations, I thought I might write an update. 

Thank you to everyone for the donations! We are just $20 away from my goal - how exciting!

I have in fact listened to Taylor's new album on repeat. It's exactly running tempo but definitely an entertaining walk. 

Have I been walking or running or doing any preparation? ...no. 

But I did google it and apparently it takes 1.5 hours to complete. So, I figure surely even my unfit lungs can do it in 2.5 hours. I've been playing almost full 90 minutes of soccer (which has been my inly form of training) - surely I can finish the track in decent time.

I am keen for the food and face painting this Sunday!

Start of the Journey

Wednesday 17th Apr
Hello to whoever took the time to read this, 

There is 2 and a half weeks until the 10km and I am questioning whether I should have started prepping earlier. While I'm sure I can walk the distance I did actually want to run most of it. 

So tonight, after work - I am getting my butt into gear. I'm going for a run at the soccer fields and going to hit up my soccer team for some donations (they're Uni students so maybe I'll be lucky if I get some loose change 😜). 

Oh and I'm sure TayTay's new album will fuel a few hours of running this Friday.
