I'm Walking for WAGEC!
I’m walking to call for an end to violence against women and children.
I see the impacts of domestic violence in my work constantly - it is an epidemic that has created intergenerational trauma for all people in society. No matter their income, their background, the school they went too or the amount of support they have.
Last year domestic violence was declared a national crisis. It’s time we demanded more and supported the women and children affected by violence in our community.
