I'm walking with temporary migrants and in solidarity of all victim-survivors
As a victim-survivor myself, I know how lonely and isolating it can be to leave violence and start again.
I had the safety net of my family and my Australian passport, which meant I could leave safely and eventually find a place to call my own.
My sisters and siblings who have also experienced violence but are without Australian citizenship have far worse chances than I do - just because of their visa status.
I believe that all survivors of violence deserve safety no matter what their visa status is. In our first-world and progressive country, all lives should be treated with respect and dignity.
That's why this year, I am walking alongside temporary migrant survivors of domestic violence and our allies.

My Impact
So far this year, I’ve helped provide:

nights of safe accommodation for a woman and child experiencing violence.

women with access to counselling services, helping them rebuild after trauma.

care packs incl. toiletries, PJs and essential items to help a mother fleeing violence.
My legacy
Over 4 years, I’ve raised $1,347 to end violence for women and children.
