I'm walking to end violence against women and children.

This September, I’m walking for something very close to my heart. 🤍

I’m taking part in Walk for WAGEC 2026, raising funds for women and children impacted by domestic and family violence and homelessness.

This cause is personal to me. I experienced childhood abuse and domestic violence myself, so I know how important it is to have safety, support and someone in your corner when you need it most. I’ll be walking for the younger me who would’ve benefited from the services at @womens.girls.emergency.centre 

Every 11 days, a woman is killed by an intimate partner in Australia. Every fortnight, a child dies as a result of domestic and family violence.

It shouldn’t be this way. 

I’m walking to help WAGEC (women and girls emergency centre) continue providing safe accommodation, essentials and support to women and children escaping violence. 🫶🏼
