ENGAGE YOUR WORKPLACE

GET YOUR WORKPLACE INVOLVED

1.

Register your workplaceassign a 'Workplace Captain' to register here. When registering, select "With Your Workplace." You will be prompted to create and name your workplace team, for example, 'Streets Ice Cream'.

2.

Invite your colleagues to join your workplace: the Workplace Captain will receive a shareable link, which they can use to invite others to join.

3.

Create teams: once they join, colleagues can create teams within your workplace. For example, 'Streets Ice Cream' Workplace has two teams: Team Bubble O’Jill and Team Golden Gaytime. Each Team has a Team Captain (the person who created the team) who can send around the unique link to join the team. Every person that wants to fundraise will need to create an individual account and then join the relevant team.

4.

Begin fundraising: share your fundraising page with your family, friends and networks and ask them to donate. Encourage some healthy competition within your workplace by challenging teams to see who can raise the most for women and children.

5.

Spread the word: make sure everyone knows your workplace is walking by sharing on your company’s social media and through your internal communications channels.

6.

Walk with your workplace: walk in Centennial Park, Sydney on Sunday 7th May. Or virtually walk anywhere between 1st May - 7th May.
